IS GOLF A MENTAL GAME OR PHYSICAL GAME?

So in a 4 hour round we actually do about 15minutes of hitting and the other 3hr 45min we are in our own heads. During this time we have a new thought every 3 seconds and 80% of the time we are thinking under the line Click here for more info. We can not change these fact as this is human behaviour, however we can be made aware of it then make the choice to enter a state of mind which helps us perform.

Step 1. What is your current state of mind out of 1-10 (1 being about to fall asleep and 10 being, you're about to explode)

Step 2. If you're answer is about 3 you are in a good calm state and you're ready to perform. If you're above this line try this exercise.

Step 3. Take 4sec to inhale, hold your breath for 4sec and exhale for 4sec. repeat this about 4 times.

Step 4. Remeasure your state our of 10. Remember the more honest you are to yourself the better this will be.
